About
Airenjuku is a group of martial artists who practice the martial art of Aikido.
Our name,’ Airenjuku’ ,means ‘small school of harmonious practice’ . This reflects not only the way in which our club is managed, but also the way we encourage our students to practice.
Founded over 30 years ago, the club operates over two sites in central London, and we have sister dojos in Brighton and Mexico.
The club is led by Sue Smith , 5th Dan Aikikai, Shidoin, and Andrew Humphries, 5th Dan Aikikai, Shidoin, supported by their team of instructors. We are affiliated through the United Kingdom Aikikai and Te Shin Kai to the Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo.
